The titanic sank do an iceberg.Leaving horizantol punctures and huge gashes on the sides of the ship,followed by popped rivets,and the flooding of all five of its compartments.As water filled the ship it began to sing to one side,once nearly verticle,half of the ship collapsed into the water do to its weight,and the other half sinking.Some people believe they werent on watch to see the iceberg comming,others the ship was moving too fast to move out of the icebergs paths.Its really up to you hope it helped
